Nemesis-----------------------------
PACT+ (2020 - 2023)
Hey, I'm Nemmy!
I'm a singer, songwriter and vocal coach, born and raised on the beautiful island of Aruba. Growing up in a multicultural and multilingual environment shaped not only the way I make music, but also the way I teach. I speak multiple languages and love helping people from different backgrounds feel at home in my lessons.
My music lives somewhere between R&B, Soul, Pop and Latin, and I've been lucky enough to perform on some amazing stages over the years. I fronted my solo project Nemesis with a live band, performing at venues like Melkweg Amsterdam and events like: Sail Amsterdam, and Rollende Keukens. But I also enjoy being a backing vocalist for other projects. I've toured as a backing vocalist for DEWOLFF during their 2025–2026 club tour, performing at venues including Paradiso and TivoliVredenburg.
My ClassesMy lessons are for anyone who wants to understand their voice better, whether you've never sung before, you've been singing for years, or you're somewhere in between.
Together we'll work on:
- Building healthy vocal technique
- Breath support and vocal control
- Singing with confidence and projection (without shouting!)
- Finding your own unique sound
- Fixing habits that might be holding your voice back
- Soul, R&B and Pop vocal styling
- Riffs & runs
- Songwriting in English and Spanish
- Singing in multiple languages
I don't believe in trying to make everyone sound the same. Your voice already has its own personality, I'm just here to help you unlock it.
Riffs & Runs Workshops ✨
If you've ever wondered "How does Beyoncé make that run sound so effortless?" or "How do people do those crazy R&B riffs?" I've got you!
In my Riffs & Runs Workshops, we break down popular runs from some of our favourite artists step by step. We look at the notes, the rhythm, the placement, the technique, and most importantly, why they work. Once you understand the mechanics, you'll not only be able to recreate them you'll start creating your own.
My teaching style My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and a little chaotic in the best way. I like to keep things light because I genuinely believe people learn better when they're comfortable enough to make mistakes, laugh, and try again.
There's no pressure to be perfect here. Singing can feel vulnerable, so I focus on creating a space where you feel safe to make noise, experiment, ask questions, and grow at your own pace.
We'll take things slow when we need to, celebrate the small wins, and build solid technique that actually lasts.
At the end of the day, I want you to leave every lesson feeling more confident than when you walked in and maybe a little in love with your own voice too.
